Co-ed Youth Basketball Skills & Drills Pre-K - 6th
Program Info: Led by Varsity Basketball Coaches Wade Morrill & Keith Derosby along with fellow High School athletes, youth basketball players will enjoy learning valuable skills about the game of Basketball through various drills and fun games!
Dates and Times:
The Skills & Drills programs will run on Saturdays, December 5th, 12th, 19th, January 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th.
Session 1:
CO-ED Pre-K, K, & 1st Grade - 8:15am-9:00am at Monmouth Academy Gym
Session 2:
CO-ED 2nd & 3rd Grade - 9:15am-10:15am at Monmouth Academy Gym
Session 3:
*CO-ED 4th, 5th, & 6th Grade - 10:30am-11:30am at Monmouth Academy Gym
*Boys and girls may separate for this session if numbers allow.
Cost: $40 per player.
*Any player participating in our Rec Leagues (Grades 3-6) is required to participate in the Skills & Drills program. However, Rec League players do not need to complete a separate Skills & Drills registration, as participation is already included with their Rec League registration.
All Skills & Drills players should plan to wear appropriate gym sneakers and clothing as well as bring their own water bottle labeled with their name. Program participants will receive a Monmouth Youth Basketball T-Shirt!
Rec League Basketball For Boys & Girls in Grades 3-6.
*DEADLINE FOR LEAGUE REGISTRATION IS: THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12th

Girls - 3rd & 4th Grade and 5th & 6th Grade
Boys - 3rd & 4th Grade and 5th & 6th Grade
Monmouth youth basketball teams will participate in a local Tri-County recreation youth basketball league.
Season Dates: Saturday, December 5th - February 6th
All games will take place on Saturdays. Game schedules will be released the week or two before the start of the season.
Practices:
- Practices are anticipated to begin the week of November November 16th. Exact practice days & times are based on coaches availabilities and will be determined by coaches in tandem with facility availability. Each travel team will have a minimum of one evening practice during the school week at the Monmouth Memorial School Gym.
Cost: $60 per player.
*The fee for the travel program includes the skills and drills program, the overhead cost for game referees, and also all travel program players will receive a skills and drills t-shirt and a reversible game jersey which they get to keep!
All travel players are required to participate in the Saturday Skills and Drills Program. This not only helps support the program, but it also gives all players valuable time to work directly with the varsity coaches and HS athletes.
